The man is even worse at tactics than Olly was! Bring in someone who knows about tactics for the last 2 games, couldn't do any worse!
Cisse playing out left was a waste of space. Buz playing away from home another waste of space. Game was over before any changes could be made. Not sure Hughes would have made the right changes anyway, he seems slow to react.
Oh please. Can I revert these comments to the old fickle thread! I didn't see anything like this after Swansea, Spuds, Arsenal or was that all luck. We're not Utd and have no divine right to walk onto an away ground against an established top 4 team that has just beaten Barcelona and take the points. Get some perspective and focus on Stoke, thats where we need our energy!
Just Back What another waste of money and a day!!! How can the players not be up for a game like this? It's was our biggest derby FFS! Chelsea have just played a tough game against Barca and was run all over the pitch yet our 'so called' fit players looked like they were in slow motion. Were they stuck in the mud? Ashamed of the team today and i don't want to read anymore 'We are staying up' comments from the players because we are not. The club needs to take a long hard look at itself and smell the coffee because this year has been a disaster. I don't care if we are playing Barnsley or Barca but we need a team of players not a team of strangers. Utter Rubbish Rangers
Difficult to know where to start...... Run ragged in midfield......defence all over the place..... Why were we so slow to get forward when we had the ball? Didn't just seem because Zamora was on his own, but a lack of willingness for the midfield to get forward into space BUT this match is now in the past - we MUST focus on Stoke. It's going to the wire - I'd be surprised if goal difference wasn't still a deciding factor in two weeks' time
Absolutely but a goal down so quick and all your pre match plans go out the window. Lampard interfering with play goals 1maybe and 6 definitely (offside and blocked Kenny on the line), defensive mix up with NO. But in answer to your question definitely more fight needed and wanted but we wouldn't accept the players throwing the towel in yet so I won't. Still all to play for.
I think many of us knew that Chelsea at SB was always going to be a step too far for our team. Chelsea are a pretty good team and most of these players have Prem medals and massive top flight and international experience. We have f**ked up in so many ways this year its unreal. NW was never going to be the man to stabilise us in the Prem and by allowing him to stay until xmas, we effectively gave any new manager no real hope of keeping us up. We are not as good as we think. our results and league position don't lie. All the players NW bought at the end of last summer were unfortunately players that nobody else wanted. We supplemented our Champ squad with effectively cast offs from other teams. Our Jan buys were better but you can't gel a team in that short a period. We have been out of the Prem for so long many of us are used to seeing Champ players week in and week out. We have learned a costly lesson this year, the gulf between the Champ and the Prem is pretty big. I do not want us to be relegated. It will break my heart. But i knew we were not ready for the Prem. We went from Champ relegation cadidates to promoted in 12 months. We had not prepared properly. IF we do go down, as painful as it will be, we should be able to come back better prepared and stronger. We are now slowly building foundations for the future and if we are honest we are building foundations that we should have had in place before we came up. We are still catching up after 15 years of neglect. I am gutted today. Not just at loosing but in the manner in which we did. We have no players that have been at our club for more than a few years. We have no real soul, no backbone. I do not regard Derry, Hill, Paddy etc in this category as they also have only been here for a couple of years. We need to build slowly. As fans we need to be patient. We need young players that we can grow, develop and keep for many years. Players that we can call true rangers. Players that understand our small club and our fans. Players that will bleed blue and white for us. We simply don't have any of these. Many neutral fans out there will have no sympathy for us. We will be seen as the rich little london boys. And guess what, they wil have a point. We have already wasted several millions buying rubbish and paying wages over the odds, looking for short term success.. Lets take this disappointment on the chin, move on and build a club on solid foundations for the future. Apologies for the rant, gutted, really gutted, just have to believe that tomorrow will be better and brighter.
TBH I'm not that concerned if we do go down For me supporting QPR has always been about enjoying match days, the banter, the trips away from home.....in fact the whole experience, regardless of which division we've been in As a supporter of well over 35 years I seen plenty of good, bad and indifferent performances, but come what may I'll still be there next season, the season after...... Let's be honest, after being in administration once, and close to it a second time, just having a club to support is pretty fortunate!
It's OUR big derby... NOT the players big derby. They don't have the Rangers history and passion that we all do... it's just a big game to them... to us it is SO MUCH MORE!! Totally down about the result and the day. But Nuts is right.. we have to move on, keep building our foundation.. the rest will come...
You're havin' a laugh right? You must be havin' a laugh. KEEP BUILDING?!! We're going down you imbecile!
