I Like sparky - he was actually my first choice for us (how wrong can a person be!!)

Hope he has a great first game on Saturday - After watching them earlier in the season it may be a blessing that Barton is missing as he was pants against the mags earlier in the season

I don't really rate Hughes and I was really glad we dodged him but I hope the appointment gives QPR a boost at the weekend.

I don't think he looked particulary happy coming out of Loftus Road mind.

Got to say I want the Mags to win. QPR and the botton 5/6 to get stranded a bit........Maybe a draw would do.....

Let's hope he has an absolutely terrific start this weekend but after that I really don't give a rats ass about Hughes or QPR tbh.

I got lambasted on here for suggesting such things about the reverse fixture when we actually needed it much more. Its great how our fortunes have changed under MON, highlighted for me in the Everton - Bolton game. A month ago id have prayed for an Everton win, when it came to it i was pleased with a Bolton win which preserved our top half position

Slightly surprised he took the job - always thought he felt he was "due" a bigger club - wishing him well at the weekend mind

Papers reckon Hughes has asked for £30 mill to spend in January. Might be lazy journo's though.

Hughes percentage of starting success with new clubs has always been poor, and honestly, QPR's predicted starting XI looks absolutely ****e without Traore, Taraabt, Faurlin and Barton.

If we lose this I'll be so ****ing disappointed it's unreal.

I quite like QPR and Tony Fernandes but I think he was mad to get rid of Warnock.

Have to say though Hughes is a class manager and a great appointment and this will be a tough game, but I reckon we'll scrape it 2-1.
