Good for him. Im sure the players will be on a big bonus too. I really hope Stoke can do the business, but the closer we get and from what Ive seen of Stoke,Im getting a horrid feeling in my stomach!. Its 50/50 so lets see.

Wolves will give him 5m if he can keep us up.............oh wait............ <whistle>

Was a bit of a coup when you got him as manager so i suspected a few decent bonuses would be in his contract, next season will be an interesting one as he will be expected to pull you away from the bottom of the table fight.

Impressive stats Rotter! - our last 5 home games even more so, I only wish that on our travels we had been a little more convincing, to think we only needed ´one´ point to prevent us being in this elbow chomping dilemma (finger nails went last Sunday). I truly believe that Stoke will beat Bolton but at the end of the day if we had been just a point better away from home (or at home for that matter) this would all be academic. Good Luck Rotter you can buy a half decent squad player for an extra 2.4 Million.

Boltons last five away games show Won: 2; Drawn 1; Lost 2. So no clues there as to what will happen. Goals for: 7; Goals against: 9.
Stokes last five home games show Won: 3; Drawn 3; Lost 0. Now that's better reading!! Goals for: 6; Goals against 4. Tight defence, but not a lot of goals coming from Stoke, which will make for squeaky bum time through to the final seconds of the match I feel.
    My gut feeling?
It's always good to end the season at home, with the crowd in a good mood and wanting to send them all home happy 'til next season. Pullis isn't one to let things slip. I'm sure he'll be wanting to improve the side in the summer - so they will need to show some heart. Bolton? They will undoubtedly put up a spirited attempt; tentative early start so they don't give away any silly goal, but still trying to get that opener that will secure the 3 points the need. Chances for Stoke to counter and make the breakthrough I'm sure.
So the result? I think it will be a 1-0 to Stoke. With Bolton inevitably pushing hard in the last 10 minutes and making us all bite our nails to the very end!
That means.... a Sunday night celebration and deep sighs of "how the hell did we manage to pull that off?"
But then again.. I'm only ever, at best, 50% right on my predictions; so anything could happen really.

I personally would like to see City beat QPR so that we win the title, but for Bolton to fail to win at Stoke, so that QPR stay up. Would be great to see both teams and both sets of fans at Eastlands celebrating at the final whistle.

The £1,000,000 shouldn't be offered to Hughsey it should be offered to Pulis to beat Bolton, because if we don't get a point at City it will be down to his Stoke team to keep us up.

Mark Hughes' advisor Kia Joorabchian has refuted claims the Welshman will receive a £1million bonus for keeping QPR in the Barclays Premier League.

The Hoops' fate lies in their own hands as they need just a point to stave off relegation but they must travel to league leaders Manchester City, who need a win to guarantee the Premier League crown.

With so much at stake, several newspapers have reported Hughes will receive a hefty pay day should QPR retain their top-flight status.

Joorabchian, though, claims Hughes, who took over as R's manager in January after Neil Warnock was sacked, is at the London club for the long haul.

"He knew he was taking the job in the middle of the season, quite late on in January," Joorabchian told Sky Sports News.

"The directive of the owners and the chief executive there was that they wanted to build the club from the base up and they were looking for the right man to do it.

"If it meant it would take a few years to build it then that's how it was and that was the whole thing of signing (Hughes) in that there was no bonus at all for him or his team for staying up."

QPR are in pole position to retain their top-flight status, lying two points ahead of 18th-placed Bolton.

And Joorabchian added Hughes is in a positive mindset ahead of the clash with his former employers at the Etihad Stadium.

"He's in a good frame of mind as they've got some very, very interesting results over the last few weeks," said Joorabchian.

"They've managed to beat Tottenham, Liverpool and Stoke at home, which is quite an achievement.

"So the side is improving and I think the idea is as of next year - should they be in the Premier League - Mark will look to build the side and take the club further."

He didn't mention Arsenal victory, which arguably was our biggest recent scalp....
Didn't he know, I wonder, or did he just forget...

True or not, if he keeps us up then he deserves it - especially considering we were destined to finish on 22 points a mere 9 games ago according to Ian Wrong Wrong Wrong.

And if we go down he should return his bonus for getting us up.

Is it possible to give stoke players a bonus if we stay up? Surely that's the best incentive of all?
