The problem Hudson had was DJ paid over the odds and put him on wages too high.

He also played him in games when he clearly wasnt match fit - Blackpool play off final.

Those issues were our previous managers fault not Mark Hudsons.

When fit hes among the best centre halves in the division. He would be a top defender if he had pace.

If we hadnt signed him up he would have no problem getting another club.

DJ let us lose a number of players worth in total millions last summer.

Malky is making sure the players he wants at the club stay.

Seriously Hilts? A price tag and wages does not affect a players ability. He had problems fitting in and it took a while for him to settle. Plus a majority of fans slagging him off probably didn't help either. So stop DJ bashing, DJ gave a wish list and the riddler negotiated the deal. Your personal deep seated hatred of DJ is shining through and clouding your judgement.
DJ was the manager not the negotiator what part of that do you not comprehend? Move on fella, you post some great threads but you need to rid yourself of this demon, DJ has gone move on.

 

i remember games which he cost us points very well, barnsley away, 2 years ago. we battered them, should have been 5 up, yet it was 0-0, then a free kick was conceded and he sliced the ball into the net, that happened more than once that season, at times he was a complete liability but has improved no end since then.

remember he came from a team that were relegated (charlton) so i have no idea why the club paid so much, fans of charlton said they mugged us for how much we paid but he's proven his doubters wrong, well done to him

 

Swamp. I agree the riddler paid way over the top for Huds, but having just signed a new 2 year deal how much over the top did he get paid when signed by the riddler? I suspect he hasn't signed a contract for less money this time round.
I was one of the guys questioning his signing especially with some of his earlier performances but the lad has turned it around and puts in a good shift.
