why is bruce not realising that our midfield is too static, we pass left we pass back but there is no creativity, Everyone else can see that our midfield isn't quick enough, which is making it very easier for the opposition to track back and most of all cause alot of danger coming forward.

We seem to pass it out from the back, and by the time Livermore & Huddlestone have picked a pass the opposition are back in defence, the problem persits when the opposition attacks at pace or on a counter attack, Huddlestone and Livermore are taken out of the game because they can't keep up with the game! this is why our strikers can't score and our defenders are stuggling, Bruce needs to find a new system for midfield even if it includes adding new players! .

I think people are losing the patience with bruce because he plays Huddlestone and Livemore in CM week in, week out and it is a major problem throughout our team!

The midfield is too static and you can add Ramirez to that equation. Huddlestone needs to be left out, he's lost it this year, just saw the intro to the game on BT Sport and he looked scared in the tunnel too before the match, no joke

To be fair, in a 4-4-2, you're looking for movement to mainly come from wingers and strikers, but that doesn't detract from the fact the pair of them were poor again today. I think today our main problem was the Jela and Hernandez were very poor, maybe they were rushed back too early

Livermore was one of the only decent players today, he's been playing better than Tom for a while now IMO.

What gets me is that we don't pass and move, we pass then stand and watch.

I thought the whole midfield was thoroughly abject. Meyler was guilty of several passes that just went straight to the opposition.

The formation 4-4-2 leaves us exposed in Midfield and Defence.

Midfield isn't working, the defence with Dawson and Davies just looks pathetic.

I don't think any of the players back from injury actually looked fit, I think it was an act of desperation. How can all 3 suddenly come back from injuries 'miraculously' after less than 75% of the suggested recovery time.

The training camp at the Algarve obviously worked well! Should have toughened the ****ers up by training in the UK the useless set of lazy twats.

After Diame, Quinn has been our best midfielder this season - although he may not be the quality desired, he gives 100% effort, and attempts to look to do something with the ball, he moves about, tracks back, gets forward and generally looks to play a positive pass. He might not have the ability some of our players have, but it's better than having the ability and looking to do as little as possible.

Livermore still gives all he has, he just never seems to make that important pass, or have that moment of intelligent composure on the ball. In short, he's quite limited.

Huddlestone...the less said the better. Bags more natural ability, but seems to prefer to be as anonymous as he can get away with.

I agree with your analysis. Our build up lacks pace allowing the opposition to re-group and nullify any attacking moves.

That free kick that Huddlestone took with 5 minutes to go was utter, utter ****.

It was a back pass and just about sums him up at the moment.

yeah, get Meyler and Quinny back in midfield, I thought we looked a lot better when Huddleston had a 3 match ban! am I right in thinking we picked up 2 wins in that time?

It was dreadful, he just chipped it over the wall to the keeper. No power behind it at all.

If I'd have been Huddlestone I'd have been totally embarrassed with that free kick, I mean what the holy **** was he attempting or hoping to achieve, it was over the wall, straight at the keeper, with a lovely little bounce just before it reached him, making it the perfect height to collect.

If Bruce doesn't drop Huddlestone after that pathetic performance then I'm afraid there really is no hope, and surely even the Allam's, who by their own admission know **** all about football, can see that. If he persists with Huddlestone then he's digging his own grave.

Huddlestone looks like he can barely walk let alone run.

For me the problem was the huge gap between AH & Jelly & the rest of the team. I was sitting opposite SB & I could see there was no connection to the front 2. Hoofing the ball up & no one going to assist!
This has to be something SN can see, do something about. Surely it's not rocket science?

exactly what I said, there is no engine in middle of the team the cogs around are working, but the engine in the middle isn;t piecing the team together! and If Bruce is to keep playing them both (maybe shouldn't drop both) but if Bruce is to continue playing huddlestone we will be relagated, without a shadow of a doubt and he will be off when we are in the championship.

Bruce needs to get ince, aluko and quinn in to the team, and eliminate the players that lack the effort! .....everyone can see it, Bruce needs to get tough now! becasue it can't get any worse!
