    Huddersfield have extended Jermaine Beckford's loan until the end of the season. Im quite disappointed with that as I would have recalled him for the whole of January to try and sell him again. Should we be unable to sell him then simple loan him back to them on deadline day for the rest of the season. That way we could recoup some money and allow Nigel to bring in another striker unless the owners are going to invest more into the team

    But Beckford is unavailable on New years day when Huddersfield play us at the King Power Stadium

    Huddersfield probably have agreed a fee for the lad.

    1 good thing to come from this is Huddersfield have no pulled out of the race to sign Chris Wood

    @StringerSport
    So Beckford extends his loan at Huddersfield until the end of season. I'd imagine that means a new frontman deal has been done - Wood

    Can't we still sell him anyway if another team comes knocking? I mean we managed to get Drinkwater in similar circumstances last year. But I agree, can only imagine that Huddersfield have effectively agreed a bid, seems like idiotic business if not the case.
