Silly amount of money for a number plate, there are very few cars in Hull worth that!
You can see why the DVLA have started auctioning them off themselves though, up until recently you could just apply for a particular number plate, people used to do that and auction them off privately.

Im sure most could buy it, credit offered nowadays is ****ing ridiculous, but Id be stunned if anyone would. I'm partial to a bit of luxury myself but when you spend a half-decent annual salary on some letters for your car that's when you've lost touch with reality.
