Didn't happen with USF1 so don't see why it would happen now.

well USF1 was the 13th team but toyota and BMW pulled out late on. Lotus/Caterham getting the BMW spot and Sauber rescuing themselves and taking the late Toyota spot. There was no time for the other spot. Though Stephen GP tried but i dont think Bernie wanted a dodgy arms dealer run by crooks on the grid.


I wonder if Lola are still interested?

I think it costs far more to enter the sport as a new entrant than to take over an existing team, so I'd have thought if anyone was interested they'd take the HRT spot if possible.

Lola have money issues at the moment. Due to the poor economy, less people are going racing, so less people are buying their LMP chassis, which is where their income comes from.
