Just wondering why Howson is still not a Norwich player? Could it be that a late bid from another club has turned his head and he may not be off to Norwich after all.....
Who knows where he'll end up? The lack of information is annoying. I think we can safely say he won't be a Leeds United player come Feb though. He was at the game against Chelsea on Saturday and its expected the loose ends will be tied up today.

one of the previous posters mentioned Norwich been rather pissed off with the leak to the press. Still think it'd be a bit stupid if they pulled out because of this.
Not sure they wish to pull out, just other things may have taken place over the last 48 hours. Why when he has met with Norwich and everything was "ok" has he still not signed? It could be nothing, but does appear rather strange.
Maybe Howson has decided to sign a new contract at Leeds United and realised the errors of his ways!!

@LeedsInEssex - how can you call him Captain Coward? The lad has not been offered a good deal by Bates otherwise he would have signed ages ago. Norwich want him and are prepared to pay him, so how can you diss one of the few players who has given his all for us? Bates is not interested in keeping players unless they accept his wage policy. Well, its a free market, so players are going to bugger off if there are better career prospects elsewhere. Sorry, but to not make an effort to keep your captain is just plain disrespectful. He will go perhaps someone else has offered BATES more MONEY thes things do happen but for sure he will leave you read what Parker said he was told that in the interests of the club they wanted him to go .Now you can,t be more specific than that!

apparently howson failed his medical at norwich because he didnt have the required number of fingers or toes
paperwork and medical details seem to be holding the announcement up - nothing more than that. he agreed terms on thursday i think and he had his medical friday afternoon. he was at our game on saturday and lambert is speaking as if its a done deal - he never does that unless its a done deal. the deal was still in the early processes when it was leaked to the press. transfers take time to iron out and because it was leaked to the press early, which norwich never do, it is making it seem like its taking ages! its actually pretty normal but cos he's injured the medical probably isn't as straightforward ps. for beating ipswich. absolutely hilarious goals!!
