The school where I work often get various perks from tour companies in return for giving them our business for cricket, football tours etc. anyway, this week I was offered a place on an 'inspection visit' to Sunderland. Stadium tour, tour of some football leisure centre place in Sunderland, tour and lunch at Academy of light then hospitality tickets to today's game! However, we have Spanish exchange here this week and I'm involved with that today. I couldn't get out of it so had to decline and give my place to a colleague. He (a Watford fan ffs!) is now en route to Sunderland and has promised to give me constant updates to rub it in. Gutted!!
I'll be hearing about it all day. He's not there yet, but sure he's about to steal the greatest day of my life!
