Like on a player to player basis as well as team. I didn't see the game yesterday as I went to Lewes bonfire and MOTD offered me the goals and little else.
Is it just me or Arsenal players looked like men yesterday? For the first time in god knows how many months they look like a team who knows they will win.
Completely controlled the game. Verm and Kos were in sync, and dealt with everything very well. Santos was again a bit dodgy defensively, and allowed them the chances they did eventually get. It's quite hard to judge us going forward, since I never really felt us ever pushing, or trying to make an impact.. it was all rather relaxed and the goals just came when they did. Everything was rather safe, although it was accomplished and there was never any pressure to try and make things happen. Arteta had me cursing him at one point, for being incredibly lazy. For those that remember their weak penalty shout, Arteta played a very very poor pass, then did nothing about trying to defend as WBA came onto us. Infact he stopped playing, and didnt try to even try to win the ball back. Was a selfish, stupid moment by him, didn't try to atone for his error in which WBA nearly scored from.
