At last a decent official in charge. He didnt make a single wrong call tonight. He didnt wave cards aimlessly and he refereed with common sense. In recent weeks we have not had the luck with decisions....bet we were all looking to the linesman as Mackie went through!

Webb covered himself in glory at the weekend with his excellent handling of a very difficult situation and he excelled again tonight. Its not often we praise Refs and I am sure he wont always get it all right but him and his team tonight were superb!

Great game, great result, great official.

He is a great ref. It is also amazing that Mackie's perfectly good goal was not ruled offside. Perhaps the tide has turned for QPR at last?

Dead right! He kept the game flowing without any really bad tackles coming in, and didn't seem to make bad calls.

He honestly is one of the best officials in the world. Has his odd dodgy game but otherwise hes number 1 for me.

Thought he was going to book Diakite towards the end - but he just advised him to calm down.

    Top ref.

Luck could finally be on our side. Any other day Mackie would have been flagged for offside.

He got a couple decisions for throw ins and corners wrong but overall was very good, didnt book a player either. He also allowed tough challenges that won the ball to go, I hate refs that blow up because someone was to keen to win the ball.

Yes, me too, great refereeing - I note he warned Diakite with a couple of fingers, indicating the next offence would be carded.

I wished we could have him every week. He didn't get everything right. But who does? Webb is No.1 With Dowd and Clattenburg a close 2nd.

Although i cant believe he didnt book Ferdinand for a hack from behind on suarez. glad to see us get a little bit more dirty and target one player who got quieter as the game went on. it was great seeing us take turns to kick him.

I was a bit angry at him at one point in the 1st half, but not as much as a few blokes near me, they kinda choreographed their outrage <laugh>

"Howard Webb...You are an absolute disgrace"
