Howard Webb is the ref for Saturday

Oh well, Its been a nice little run while it lasted

 

SAF probably hoyed him a few quid to make sure Arsenal don't win owt......so no worries...

Even though the bloke shouldn't be a top league ref.

 

The only worse one would have been Kevin Friend...He's no friend of SAFC that's for sure..

 

I think Mariner & Probert are the poorest

 

Howard Webb has been involved in a **** up every weekend since he gave Everton a penalty for nothing so don't expect him to get much right on Saturday, the bloke is a tool.

 

Well, we can now concentrate on finishing top 4

 

I doubt Arsenal will be much interested in the FA Cup, they will be looking towards a top 4 spot for Champions League

 

It's coming to something when we all have opinions about poor referee's - but very few are saying "such and such is a good ref" - Probert, Friend, Webb are all pretty crap - the only ref who is probably half decent is Clattenburg (SP) - not great but better than a lot of others (much less in the way of bad, game changing decisions) - and he can't ref our games as he's a Mag!!

 

I posted Friday and said I'd take next weeks game over this weekends. We will finish around 9th this season now imo anyway but have a fantastic opportunity to get to the quarter finals and beyond of the FA Cup.

Will ****er play RVP 3 times in 7 days? Will he risk Rosicky and Arteta likewise? Without those 3 Arsenal are merely ordinary.

I think we will play our absolute best fit 11 and I also think, Howard twatface Webb included, that those 11 will be good enough to win the game.

 

Could not be worse than the guy on saturday!

Clattenburg is the worst ****ing ref, he makes stuff up that dickhead.

 

Just hope the big headed twat puts his contacts in..

 

The only thing I am sure of now is the game will be decided by a dodgy decision either way.I just hope the sun is shining on us on Saturday.

They should promote that young lass that runs the line, a commentator was saying she had got 98% of her decisions right.
A hell of a better % than her male counterparts.

I've always said a good ref is one you hardly notice, the ones who let the game flow and dont blow the whistle for everything. The best example i can think of was the play off final against Charlton , the only time he blew his whistle was to start/restart play. That was a half decent game if my memory serves me right......

 

Chris Foy is the best in that league
