http://www.not606.com/showthread.php/211451-Is-Cardiff-bigger-than-your-club Obsessed If it was not so sad it might be funny.
Some of them simply cant cope with us being in the PL. 2nd City Syndrome. We helped save their club and still theres this bitterness with some.
Come on Hilts you know the rules, you can't talk about their dodgy past cos they'll get all upset again.
Am getting the sentiments expressed but the title is confusing me - 'How with another team can you get?' What does that even mean?
I typed Obsessed but I thought there were no many "S" so I copied and paste into a spellcheck, when I posted obsessed was missing. It's a pity it's not missing from so many posts from others attached to your board.
Fair enough - and totally get where you're coming from - our board can come over a bit Calvin Klein at times!
Yes Dai only a few but alas they spoil it for the rest of you, there are some cracking posters on the Swans board who can debate and put their view across.
Absolutely agree Dave, have come in for quite a bit of flack recently for appealing for perspective on both boards, but the idiots will always be idiots - I will stand by my opinion that having Cardiff in the PL is great for Welsh football and that you have won your place in the top flight on merit! You won the Championship well before the season end and have earnt your place at the top table! Will be cheering you on at every game apart from the two against us!
Some would argue that by merely creating this thread confirms YOUR obsession with your near neighbours. How "sad" is that? You will have more things to be "obsessed" about next season. Like getting enough points to survive.
Not really most of us are realistic and know it will be tough, obsessive? I think not, more realistic methinks. I see the original thread for what it is but I suspect other posters from other boards may not and decide it is the swans who are obsessed.
Vetch - I think you'd be advised to take that comment on board as far as your club is concerned as well. There are plenty down there who, because of last season in particular, come across as thinking it'll be a cakewalk for you next year. Nothing wrong with confidennce as long as it's not misplaced. We are certainly not over confident at Cardiff to the point of complacency, and know what we've got to do just to survival up there, whereas some of you lot are debating what to do to get higher than 9th. Eventual reality has a strange way of biting you on the arse.
