    Unless you've been working in Mike Ashleys kitchen none stop for the last 6 months (poor souls) you'll be aware the derby is fast approaching..

    Inevitably there is going to be a winner and a loser (unless there is a draw but we will ignore that scenario right now)

    So what would be your reaction if Newcastle win, how would you celebrate?

    What happens if, (im struggling to type this) Newcastle lose? How will you try to console yourself?

    P.s anyone got any crazy stories of past post derby shenanigans?

    Since I will be watching it at 6 AM here in Texas, I will probably cheer or weep quietly so I don't wake the rest of the house. If I sleep tonight. A win will make my day, but a loss will make me a miserable bastard for the rest of the day. or week.

    Newcastle win-write article on sunderland board then party with friends

    draw-normal life resumes

    I've used the tactic of telling all mackems I know I think we'll lose.
    Then if we do, I get less grief because I can just say I was resigned to it anyway. :D

    I lived in Austin for a while.

    To answer the OP.

    Pissed as a newt high on the merriment of life or as sober as a judge contemplating a death sentence.

    Either way; booze is involved.

    Come the disipation of the fugue; I'll be back to normal on Sunday waiting for the LB and SAT we need irrespective of the result.
