where will posters be on the evening of the 31st January when the UK officially leaves the EU.

Joining Farage's party at the HoCs, party at home, or laying down in a darkened room?

I will be doing the weekend's shopping in Engelskirchen and then spending my Friday evening as I mostly do. I will then wake up on Saturday morming on the first of February and know that nothing has changed in my life. The strange thing is that nothing will have changed for you either - on the 1st of February you will still be subject to all EU laws, freedom of movement and all of it. But you won't have any representation in Brussels - you will be law takers but not law makers (for who knows how long) - you really are in such a rush to give up all your sovereignty ! Unfortunately your attempt to introduce a provocative tone on here has fallen flat - we'll see if anyone else wants to take part.

Not provocative at all, just a lighthearted take on forthcoming events. Sulking won't get you very far.

The UK knows exactly how long we will still be subject to EU laws, until the end of this year.

The Brexit bill has today passed its final hurdle, just the automatic royal assent to come. The commons rejected all five of the Lords attempts at amendments.

    Champagne almost on ice.

Brits will still be allowed to use the EU lines until the end of 2020. However you may need to sharpen your elbows in the queues for the cable cars, the prevalence of trying to queue jump the Brits may increase!!!!!

English sparkling wine is on ice and ready to go. I've never really liked NYE, but this year it will be exceptional.

Have no fear SH Mme and I have developed the skill of becoming very very wide and positioning ski poles and skis at appropriate places and angles. Some years ago I was getting hassle from some bloke who I decided to ignore but Mme got so fed up with him she threw him a punch. That's my girl!:emoticon-0146-punch.
Sadly now most people wear helmets you can no longer pull their hat off and throw it backwards.

    Great story.

In some European cultures queuing is not so disciplined as the Brits are so well used to.

I haven't been skiing for nearly 30 years, my days are probably over now. The last time I went I was insisting my young daughter carry her own skis back to the hotel although she said she felt unwell. I thought she was just being lazy. After we sat on the coach for a while she threw up all over me. I had to sit still covered in puke for quite some time. We later found out she had been knocked over whilst in her class so subsequently had mild concussion. This was obviously before the days of helmets.

It is much easier to laugh about it now. :emoticon-0100-smile

No, but you can carefully unclip their binding so as they try to ski off they fall over ;-)

Are you joining Boris at 10 Downing St? I see he has had his cartons of English sparkling wine delivered ready for the 31st.
