Just browsed old threads on QPR board. The above one is on Page 18.Good for a laugh, deluded gor blimeys.
Best quote on page #1 Was trying to stay off this thread, but this post has got to be joke surely? Norwich don't have a player who gets in our team
And in May we'll be referring back to threads like this one Do you think you can survive with Ruddy out for three months?
It only appear to be fans of teams other than Norwich that think he will be a significant loss Yorkie. I don't think he will be as big a loss as all these people think. Mark Bunn looks every bit as capable and commands the box well. Hopefully he will go on to prove this. Saints fans in the week were nearly convinced that Ruddy's absence was a major plus for them, they now know better Bassong would be a far more concerning loss if he was side-lined for 3 months
You rather miss the point. It's aboutQPR thinking that they would be streets ahead of us and the Swans. If you disagree then I suggest you go and put a tenner on QPR finishing top of the three sides come May.Should get you a new car if it comes off, good luck with that one.
We're going to have to accept that the binners will be crawling back to our board now they're at the dizzy heights of 20th!
I've never read so much hoop-tinted bowlacks in all of my days The pillock who posted #21, about not wanting to be associated with Swansea, never mind ****ing N**wich needs to be looked at/sectioned But this takes the biscuit, for me, and it's one of the opening gambits in the O.P. When, when when will they fathom that you can have pockets as deep as Fingal's Cave, but if you consistently buy disfunctional wannbes/usedtobes it will come back to bite yo ass. Money doesn't buy the grafter ethos, the unity and passion and resolve. That comes when you have 11 hardworking guys all pulling in the same direction OTBC!
Yeah me too, it's a description of Mick McCarthy's ethos. I haven't a clue about this Bunn chap but I do think Ruddy is the best English keeper at the moment and in the top three or four in the Premier League so I'm surprised it doesn't bother you. He won you so many points last season. Realistically I think Swansea will finish mid-table, QPR will survive and I wouldn't like to predict where Norwich will finish, I would have said you will struggle now but I'm being told otherwise so we'll wait and see
I would love to know what you are basing this on Hampy. I have watched them 6 times this season and seen nothing to suggest they can possibly survive. Yesterday they needed to win against Villa, and in fairness probably should have but they have no fire power and that is not likely to change until January. If they can't get the goals they can't win and that's a lot of games in December to not win.
With respect, Bobby Zamora will be back in a couple of months. Tarrabt, Wright-Phillips, Park, Mackie, Cisse... doesn't sound a bad set of attacking options to get them through the next month. All through the side they have proper quality and I would fully expect Harry to turn them into a dangerous side. He needs to start with tightening up the back and work his way forward. Those players will get goals.
It will be too late when BZ is fit The same players that have failed to do so in the last 4 months - You serious?
I'm not too worried about Zamora, Cisse and Wright-Phillips, all overrated. Taarabt, Park and Mackie are half decent but haven't been doing much this season!
They've not had any steel. It's been a shambles up to now so I don't think you can go on past performances. I don't think Norwich will be relegated by the way, I can't see Sunderland surviving and I can't see Villa hauling themselves up although they will probably do about enough.
QPR are deluded from owner down to terrace, rubbish team hope they go down after that its still any two from the next ten, of course Ruddy will be a big miss for us but Mr H knew what he was doing when he bought Bunn, as previously posted if Bassong was out for 3 months I would be concerned but from what I have seen to date of Bunn I am comfortable with him in goal for us
If we take 40 points as the usual survival target, QPR need 34 points from 23 games. That is either 10 wins, 4 draws and 9 defeats, or 9 wins 7 draws and 7 defeats, or 8 wins 10 draws and 5 defeats. Might be possible, but looks a mighty tough call for a team who haven't managed one win in 15.
What you are suggesting is 'Arry is going to weave his magic I would presume. He might but even if he does I still don't think it will be enough. I will keep basing my opinion on what I have seen so far as I think it is a better yardstick than a gut feeling that a change of manager is going to mend something that has been seriously broken. I know it appears MM has turned the corner for you guys but I really don't think it will apply in this case.
