So with Chelsea fans all hoping that Rodgers takes over from Mourinho, I was curious how well you think he would do as manager.

Chelsea arguably have one of the stronger squads and Rodgers does well with star players. Suarez year almost won league.

I think Rodgers will do well for Chelsea. Maybe even 7th place.

    Thoughts?

/ yes this is a wum... Rodgers hasn't signed yet. I'm sure he's considering his options. I am curious how people think Rodgers would do though...

    My guess is 7th.

Apparently done and dusted now. Rodgers looks right pleased.

If they got Rodgers in they'd do the same they did when Rafa saved them, act like a bunch of spoiled brats and not support him :D

I can only shudder to think how many average players Rodgers could buy with out budget <laugh>

No transfer committee to keep him in check either

And Southampton would be looking over their shoulder again! Albeit it would be a step down for their players at the moment...<yikes>

  13. I think that Rodgers would struggle to get as high as 7th this season; however, I have every confidence in him that he'd be able to get Chelsea to settle around 7th, over successive seasons, provided he was given enough cash to splash in the transfer market.

I think his first signing would be Terry.

Terry Venables? I don't think he'd come out of retirement for Rodgers.

Mind you can't be worse than Hazard of late.
