I am Ipswich born and bred and to be honest he is only saying what many Ipswichers have been saying for a long time! Good on him and if this sparks a proper debate about improving the Town Centre then I am all for it! They say it takes a fresh pair of eyes to identify a problem and Ipswich deserves a far better Town Centre than the crap its got at the present time.
I'm not saying this to wind up the binners but it is a very bleak place. Having attended a comedy gig last Summer, the missus wanted to go earlier for a look around. I've never experienced them anywhere except London and Cambridge, as well as a few other places around the world and I've been to a lot of places! Cambridge just seems different when it comes to vagrants!
