I've just been reading some of the comments on the LCFC v NFFC match threads, and frankly I find it absolutely hilarious that they are/were celebrating a last minute draw as if they'd just won a trophy! I knwo it's been a long while since they had any success (couldn't even win L1 with three attempts ) but seriously, are they THAT desperate for something to cheer about, they cheer a last minute equaliser, which they got in no small way thanks to an incompetant referee and his inconsistant, stupid refereeing, and our useless back-up goalkeeper, as if they had just won the title or something! I guess we should all take it as a compliment that they nick an undeserved point in a match where they were outplayed, outfought and technically inferior, and suddenly they feel as if they have achieved something! Just shows how their 'tiny insignificant' neighbours are powering ahead of a club that is still living in it's past and being left out of the future. the tragic demise of a once proud club continues to accelerate....
It's because they don't care about us... But everyone knows we were the better team, just because they nicked a point doesn't mean they should be celebrating like they've just won the lottery after a rather lacklustre performance.
Too be fair if we had come back from 0-2 down at home to draw in injury time - regardless of how it was done - we would probably be the same. Major difference is that we would have a lot more "why were we so crap to concede 2 goals to begin with" threads as we have higher aspirations.
I can understand the relief of getting a draw you didn't deserve - my point was that they were on our boards HOURS after, giving the old Billy Big-Balls act, when all they had done was got an undeserved draw!
Their attitude is so tinpot. I just came away from the ground on Saturday thinking 'how can these fans be so arrogant?'. Because they have absolutely nothing to be arrogant about. Embarrassing club.
I'd obviously be going mental in the stands, but even to the point where I'd just left the ground, there's no way I'd be walking around singing in the streets like they were, or like Foxello says, bragging about it on forums 2 days later. Sheffield Utd away last season, we won 1-0 when we should have lost 4-1, I celebrated in the ground, but afterwards I was quietly disappointed with the performance and more concerned about the bigger picture. They are celebrating like I'd expect Coventry to do if they got the same result. I was stupid enough to think they were more ambitious than that.
Derby always have a good start and then realise they're actually **** about November time. They might have a better year than last year, though, but won't trouble the play-offs. Cov, without their usual good start, however are staring into the abyss....
By the way forest you needed a fake penalty and a **** keeper you ****s We showed class in the 1st half but im still waiting for a striker >=[
By the way your fans celebrated a point, you'd think you'd just won the european cup, but I guess you dont know what that feels like seeing you probably weren't even born the last time you won anything
And suppose you had scored in the last minute? would you just stand there and shrug ya shoulder! Like **** you would, you'd be going mental! It's football, thats what people do! Your just a moron that has no ****ing idea what a celebration is!
Try celebrating outside the ground like you've won the European Cup. Now is it embarrassing? Yes, yes it is.
