If Villa were relegated at Norwich? They've got a real crunch match tonight against Bolton and if they lose I think they could be in trouble. Bolton pretty much have to win this game, if they lose Bolton are down and out, 4 points off safety with 4 games to go. Villa still have a Derby away to West Brom, Spurs at home and a tricky end of season fixture at Norwich. Wigan will beat Wolves and stay up on the final day on 37th points even if we beat them and they lose to Blackburn ..Blackburn will hoepfully beat either Chelsea or Spurs, or at least scrape a point out of each fixtures, which will greatly help us. It could yet all work in our favour, Villa relegated, Spurs & Chelski dropping points to Blackburn... Villa need to get 2 points out of the last 4 matches to be certain to stay up. Terrific end of season coming up. I'm keeping an eye on the Villa Bolton match tonight.

That said i'm pretty surprised how the managers of the bottom clubs are behaving. Owen Coyle and Steve Kean are in deep sh**, yet they seem confident it's all going to work out fine. QPR did press the panic button at the right time, even though I don't like MH he halfway knows what he's doing and he'll keep QPR up (but will probably walk out if Spurs, Liverpool or Villa will be looking for a new manager in the summer). I also have a nasty feeling we'll see Fat Sam back in the prem next year, but maybe not at West Ham.

Does anyone think Chelsea can go through tonight? Stranger things have happened, but I don't see them winning the final.

So Blackburn doing well can help us obtain CL football AND drag Villa into the mire at th esame time! Oh now I really AM in dreamland.

I can still see those Viallains gleefully waving us out of the Prem.

HOWEVER, it would be wrong to ridcule them in return just to get 'revenge'. I think we need to rise above it and show we have a stronger sense of character. We should be gentlemanly and appreciate their plight and the impact it can have on the whole community. We should remain dignified and not wish relegation on anyone just because of past grievances. After all, nobody 'deserves' to experience relegation.

    YEAH RIGHT!!!!! Come on Rovers!!!!

I would absolutely love Aston Villa to go down after the send off they gave us a few seasons back, one of their fans was on a phone in and in total denial said they have too much quality to go down...no you F'in don't!!

Well to be fair they've got Bent - OK, forget Bent. They've got that Agbonlahor lad who broke into the England sqaud a couple seasons ago - he's scored a massive 6 goals this season. And they've got... errr, you know.. whassisname...had a lot of potential about 4 years ago ...oh and that other bloke, oh no wait he left...oh yeah and... err no, they sold that one. Still, they DO have McLeish - he's good at keeping Midlands teams up. Oh, hang on...

I think Chelsea will get smashed tonight. Big pitch at the Nou Camp and they really have to win the CL now. Otherwise they'll have just the Copa Del Rey (possibly) and the World Club Championship. Cracking season to most, abject failure to them. I do think you'll never get a better chance than now to beat them. Messi has been ill with some gastric problem (allegedly), they have just kissed goodbye to the league, the players (Xavi in particular) look exhausted, and they're generally just not at their best. Even if Chelsea did get through it would be Bayern at home or Madrid on a high. I just can't see them winning two games in a row against that sort of opposition.

As I said the other day with Villa I don't give them a moments thought. Did their fans go a bit overboard and enjoy it a little too much? Probably but its pathetic to then hold some sort of grudge over what is basically over the top football banter. I'll have a little chuckle and think "what goes around comes around", and it would be hilarious that they've taken their boss from their nearest and dearest, and he's relegated them also! I think they'll survive anyway to be honest.

I'd love nothing better than to see Villa dumped into the Championship. Awful club, awful fans, awful stadium, awful team, awful city.
