He's his own worst enemy. One second placed finish and he thinks he's a managerial magician. He can file that comment about LVG with his one about how Spurs should challenge for the league if they spent £100million and his derogatory remarks about Saints giving up on European aspirations by selling their "best" players to Liverpool.
So yeah Liverpool **** but Rodgers was right, United only made 4th safe with 2 games left over a pretty ****ing tragic Liverpool and Spurs, I'd call that a struggle
I honestly haven't seen a worse bunch of pussies than the RS this season. After being humiliated by United at their own home, they completely gave up. And they are going to keep him. Haha
I honestly doubt they will. Has there been an official statement from the Americans? Unless I've missed it there hasn't and I would say that silence speaks more volumes than anything the Daily Star is claiming. I reckon he'll go soon, they would be mad to keep him and let him spend cash which he's clearly not competent enough to spend only to let him go before Christmas. Especially with some decent candidates out there and out of work. More the pity but I reckon he's finished.
More than the Star are saying this. I'm not sure whether Brenda should take much hope from all the rumours but it seems even a hint of him staying is making many desperate RS fans tear their hair out. You are right though. I cannot believe that Brenda could survive such catastrophic failure and humiliation if the RS wish to keep their so called big club status. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/...m-christian-benteke-top-of-list-10275090.html It would good for him to stay but even if he does, a director of football and probably some experienced coaches will be forced onto him to tell him what to do. In other words a lame duck manager, who will have very little authority over buys and answerable to a more experienced man for tactics etc. Will he have enough balls to leave on his own or will he be humiliated until he resigns?
I think the pool board said there's some sort of end of season review coming up next week? Brenton's going to have to explain what went wrong and why he deserves to remain in a job. I reckon it'll end up like this:
