Now that it's becoming clear! there's not likely to be be a takeover! Can't see home attendances crossing 20k too often this season. Many of the fans duped into buying season tickets with talk of the fictitious takeover will feel aggrieved and may not be as supportive as the season unfolds. Leeds don't do good news seemingly very often
Depends on if Bates is there or not Last season was the worst ive seen for years, not only the numbers but the atmosphere aswell you could feel the tension. I haven't renewed my season ticket and won't if hes still in charge.
I personally think the crowds will be higher than last year, whether the TO happens or not. Bates certainly accounted for a lot of the drop, but I think our woeful performances at ER counted a lot too. With this squad we're assembling, there may be a touch of the 'fortress ER' this season. Can't wait, personally.
Think initially there will be an increase in crowds at ER, then the usual **** ups return and the team doesn't improve, so the crowds will drop and at the end of the season we will be almost the same as last season.
