I have had mine for bloody ages. I am guessing 6 years.

No intention of getting a new one.

Without knowing the actual date of manufacture - which could have been weeks or even months before I purchased it - it is impossible to answer this question accurately.

Nobody knows how old clothes are as we do not know the precise date they were made. They could have been in the shop for any length of time, thereby meaning you would have to add on this to the date you purchased your item.

Unless of course you made the garment yourself.

I've got a jacket that's 32 years old. Mind it doesn't really belong to me - I just never returned the book to the library.

I looked in John Lewis but couldn't find a jacket I liked plus they seem to be made to fit skinny little runts, too tight across the shoulders.

I'm a bit overweight but I haven't got fat shoulders, I've got man shoulders.

I am almost always tight around the shoulders and upper arms - it's annoying because if you go up a size to give a bit breathing room up top you end up looking as if your wearing a pyjama top which droops around the pelvis. If you go the smaller size you end up looking like a failed muscle man with the sleeves going up your shoulders.

Exactly the same for me, clothes shopping normally ends in miserable failure.
