Recently i have been working out how much time I devote to my beloved Swansea City.

Since I have recently retired from my job after 30 years i was thinkingM How much time to I spend on the Swans.

Throughout the week I am on all forums and looking at the official web site, News now, Not 606 and vatious other fotums. Every time i am at my sons reaining the talk is the Swans. I leave for the games on saturday at about 11am. Followed by my away trips. My wife has said that she is a swans widow and so it should be.

So i reckon on a weekly basis i believe that i spend at least 24hrs of my life, looking at swans sites attending matches. Just wondering where every one else is.

I probably spend a couple of hours a day, but most of the time it's in work time when I got a spare few minutes here and there. On the weekends I work from home getting ready for the week ahead, so my time on the pc takes a lot of time, I'm normally calling clients or getting calls, so a bit of light relief on here is welcomed. I get out to watch games and I try to watch the away games on a stream. In total I probably spend as much time on swans duty as I do my job.

I love the Swans , really enjoy everything about them BUT they've turned me into an insomniac . Also , I used to follow tons of sports , watched a lot of them . I couldn't tell you anything about any sport these days , haven't got a clue .... but I've been pleasantly ruined off of other sports , no complaints

Say one thing it's going to be boring with no Swans games for two weeks. I bet I spend at least two/three hrs a day forum hoping and on BBC and Sky.

swans has been a hobby of mine since the early 60's and so much an obsession than a hobby really. I started selling programmes on the corner of oxford street school as soon as i was allowed to and never missed a match until i joined the RN. I would always try and get home if we were playing when i was shore base but at sea i could go month or two before i could get any results due to no mail. when i left i built up a portfolio of houses and that paid the bills and allowed me to get my season ticket and after a while i managed through a friend to do voluntary work at the vetch....It was derelict in those days, I did quite a few jobs in and around the ground and got to see and get to know the players and staff, I got to visit the liberty half way through construction where there was no pitch or seats anywhere and it looked awful..<laugh> I continued to work on a regular basis for a couple of months at the liberty when i finally stopped through health problems....But i still have my old pass and when im near there i pop in for a cup of tea and a chat and pick up some rumors or facts.....I will always be a jack until the day i die but i have cut down my obsession a hell of a lot these days and now i devote my time to my family more.....

You have to display balance and moderation, and Ivor I expect you to set the example, some of you are spending far too much time on here! Now you've been told.....................

I go away Dilli, mainly to Spain to our group factories, I've managed to put off some visits but have to go in a couple of weeks time.

I prefer away matches as well, as it gives you a chance to visit a different town, stay over, etc. Although going to the Liberty was an away fixture for me. And before you say it Dill, no I wasn't in the Cardiff end. I lived in London.
