If Ken will just put down those plans to build restaurants, executive boxes and bars all over elland road, and concentrated on the football side, he could've basically bought thorp arch back with 07/08 profit + Delph money, and we could be spending that extra £5million or so (~ 100k a week!) to buy the quality to get out of this league. For too many years now has he pissed away our money, if Bates stays on and on slowly that revenue stream will fall. The man is slowly destroying the club, Bates is a property developer and he's treating the club as his play toy. He can go round building up new executive boxes him and his mates can sit in during a match, he can go to new restaurants and bars he's created during the week, he's even gone on to create his own radio station which makes a loss.
