....before teams stop piss balling about at the back. Spurs cruising 3-0 up and Foster gifts 2 goals to Man Utd. Every weekend it's the same across all league.....it's mental.
In game I watched just yesterday it highlighted the reason for this stupide type of play which is to develop play from the back and allowing the midfield to be involved. Now that's not rocket science but when you saw the worst ever example from 2 teams in the goalie department it makes me ask why we persist in playing the same way with Max between the pipes. What was so wrong with the tried and true system of the ball being kicked or thrown downfield to create offence from defence? At one time the ball had to completely clear the penalty area before it was considered back in play but now it can theoretically be in play inside the six yard box and that to me is idiotic and not likely to make fans love the game any more than before. Who are the idiots who come up with these new rules??
made the game faster remember if you put your foot on it the goal kick was retaken now its in play as soon as its touched.
