Another dismal day in the ongoing saga of a team that can't compete at this level. Going back through the summer goings on in the transfer window I could see that we were not going to improve this season. I keep seeing known names heading off for greener pastures other than Ashton Gate and wonder why they always seem to go to racing past Bristol in their quest for glory. Seems pretty obvious to me that our current board have no intention of ruffling any feathers in case they find out that, perhaps, nobody wants to join us due to their continuation of a policy of under achievement. This lack of positivity from the top will almost certainly result in a season long struggle, and possibly even worse unless, they are prepared to bite the bullet and address the obvious shortcomings, not just in the squad but also in the leadership.
Mike, you are 3,000 miles away - it is NOT THE TEAM It is the complete lack of management, ideas, tactical ability and direction from the manager - this is the reason why we are seeing the same old dross every week. Get a good man manager in and we can still make the play-offs...
It's a joke.......I love my club but I can't tolerate this. SL needs to step in now and get that useless ****er Millen out of the club I predicted this result last week and it was so easy.................
Delay in getting back to your comment PREM! I think most of us are trying to tell our board that perhaps with a thinking manager we could at least improve on our current lousy start. But I have a strange feeling that the status quo is the order of the day at AG and until that changes don't expect anything from this lot. Sad isn't it?
