Rumours are that Bolton have turned down 2 offers from Wigan for Ali Al Habsi, and are holding out for £5m.
    How much is he worth?
I say give them the £5m.

We'll end up paying about £3.5m plus add-ons totaling £5m if he stays for a few years

agree with wigan. no more than 3.5 mill. why? foster, green, given. bolton is playing hardball, they`ll accept 3.5 if we stick to our guns, they need the money..

I'd hate to lose Ali by coming in too low, alerting other clubs and seeing him go to one of them. Can we get 2m from Genoa for Boselli and put that towards Ali, that would be well worth it. I know Green etc are looking for moves, but Ali has already proved not only is he a good keeper, but keeping Wigan up (single-handedly at times) meant a lot to him. Other so called bigger names might come for the money but I doubt if any of them would put in half the commitment to the club that Ali has shown. Get him now!
