how much for a manager?

    If any of you watch european football you will know that porto have had a fantastic season, and their manager is held in high regard.

    But with some off the ridiculous figures going around for players, what is a top class manager worth?

    It may seem like an extreme amount, but is it worth it? i'm sure someone will be willing to pay it, and maybe he will be in the premiership next season.


    Andre Villas-Boas has revealed to Telegraph Sport that he has a staggering €15 million (£13million) release clause in his contract which is partly why the most talented young coach in European football is set to stay at Porto for at least one more season.

    If he gets results like that a manager worth more than one player. I guess it's about time they started seeing the same rewards as the players

    Villas-Boas is a strange bloke like. Not one iota of footballing experience. He must be some kind of weird managerial prodigy.

    my reference to a part time tax collecter, was actually a nice way of saying "a lazy **** on the dole". but he might have got upset...
