It's much better than any other sport channel service in terms of coverage and progamming. Only the BBC competes.
It's good coverage like but I hate all the sensationalism from it, its a ****ing rip off and it's ruined british football
Despite it being owned by that ****e Murdoch it's proudest moment was to bring us that gurning gargoyle of a kid blabbing his deep set eyes out as his beloved Leeds were relegated....priceless
FFS, Euro. How many threads must you post to satiate your appetite? I'm looking forward to you thanking us for the honour of posting the most gibberishiest post in the history of Hull City.
1. I like Skysports because their coverage of Football is incredible. 2. For too long did they monopolise the Premier League but the alternatives of BT are just as bad. 3. Sky sports money has enhanced English football and ruined it. With their money they have allowed teams like us to actually compete but they have also made the transfers and money ridiculous. 4. Hate that they sensationalise the smallest of information and in some cases. NO INFORMATION. 5. Hate their SkySports News coverage of other sports than football. Mainly because it is dull, boring and droll but also because it is done as a token act.
It would be good if they had a channel dedicated to the Championship to the Conference. People are obsessed with football these days and would definitely watch it. Especially when some channels like Euro Sports will play Croatia U21 Vs Latvia U21. Then it would go someway towards shortening the gap between the Premier League and the leagues below. It would need a more original name that Sky Sports 6 though. Something like Sky FL72.
I hate Sky, i only watch down the gym and in the pub but although they give good coverage they have got to a position where they dominate most sports so if you are not a subscriber then you cannot watch live games, which is the majority of the public. They pay vast sums for that so it's fair enough really but what really gets me is how everything is over sensationalised and analysed, when i watch sport i usually want ACTION not effin hours and hours spent talking tactics and analysing formations etc. MOTD2 on a Sunday is the same, more time spent gabbing than action. Sky has turned sport into a commercial exercise where money counts for everything above all else. OK rant over!
I don't need to watch sport on telly; 2 hours on football manager and I'm up there with Mourinho tactically.
