Posting this because of the similarity with Moussa Dembele and to a slightly lesser extent Emerson Hyndman.

"Liverpool will hope to secure a fee of more than £4m when Jerome Sinclair’s case goes to tribunal.

The 19-year-old striker has left Anfield to sign a four-year contract with Watford, it was confirmed earlier this week. Sinclair’s Reds deal expires next month, and has taken the decision to move on from the club which signed him from West Bromwich Albion as a 14-year-old, and for whom he has made five senior appearances.

He will become a Watford player officially on July 1, but Liverpool have had no contact from the Hornets since rejecting a £1.5m offer for the player back in January. In the meantime, the Reds accepted a deal worth £4m plus add-ons from Bournemouth in April, only for Sinclair to show no interest in the move.

That fact is likely to form a significant part of the representations they will make to a Premier League tribunal, who will determine how much compensation Watford have to pay for the teenager

The obvious key point is that Sinclair's transfer is to an English club. And, in Dembele's case the £6m (or whatever) that Spurs were said to be prepared to pay in January.
