other times will Gills win 5-0 and the fans are left feeling a bit 'short-changed' ?

Firstly - well done to The Gills for the 'convincing' win.
Secondly - well done to the Bolton players - they remained 'committed', even at 0-5.
Thirdly - Huge well done to the Bolton fans -- absolutely fantastic vocal support - from an impressive number.

It is [nearly] always pleasing to see Gills achieve a big win. I hope that the squad can take some confidence from the game - and go on to record many more impressive results this season.....................I do have to add a 'but' (( you'd think I was ill if there wasn't )).

I understand the 'human nature' of footballers - when they want to be the person who scores a goal --but, football is meant to be a team game.
There were so MANY occasions today when different players made the wrong, and selfish choice to try to score (( and miss )) when teammates were on hand for tap-ins, -- for example Hanlan will win the miss-of-the season contest ( and probably 2nd and 3rd place ), and his shot into the roof of the Rainham End should have been a simple pass back to Lee - who would have had his hat trick.

Whilst 5-0 was 'nice', Evans said it should have been 15-0 ------ and he is right. I hope he makes the squad watch a re-run of the game - and point out where they needed to play as a team - because not many other League 1 sides will give Gills as much time and space this season.

ps - I hope to be able to moan about many more 5-0 wins this season.

I've just watched the highlights from the Posh v Sunderland game yesterday. I think i can guarantee we will not be getting promoted <laugh>

Anyone watched Posh's number 7 play (Mo Eisa) no wonder he was their record signing and that's without mentioning Maddison....oops just did! And Beevers from Bolton (number 5).

Scally is never in a million years going to be able to mirror that expenditure on the pitch.
