Bored on shift so how many of our new signings will start at the Emirates?

I'm going for Ramirez, Davis and Clyne. Mayuka and Yoshida on the bench.

    Any advance on 3?

Please Yoshida play , we will really get pulled all around the ground and if those two are at the back it could be savage .

Congrats to them! Understandable if he's not in the team then. Ramirez probably on the bench if Lallana is available. Arsenal will be good with the ball and make us work hard, so it will be useful to have some quality on the bench anyway. Like the City game, this could be the sort of game to have Lambert on the bench and save his energy for when we need him most.

I would play him from the start. Arsenal aren't great at defending against tall strikers.

I agree , we just have to go right at them from the start , its not as if we can play the patient Holland game of the late 80's now is it ?

Didn't someone on twitter say she cheated on him or was that bs? Anyway, Ramirez, Yoshida, Rodriguez Mayuka and Gazzaniga on the bench. Davis and Clyne to start.

Rodriguez isn't exactly small though. Get to 60 minutes at 0-0 and then bring Lambert on, we stand an excellent chance of winning the game. Our midfield will hassle the bajeezus out of theirs and unless we do something stupid, I can't see them causing us too many problems early doors. Lambert comes on, scores/creates a goal or 2, uses his strength/ability to see out the game and saints are very happy. IMO its a better plan than flying out of the blocks, getting an early lead, be forced to take off a shattered Lambert, then spend the final 20 minutes desperately defending.

Yoshida,Davis,Clyne and Ramirez will all start.

I don't understand why he has to go to the hospital to see his baby, it's not like it will be a pretty sight. He can't talk to him/her and she/he will be crying and sleeping most of the time.

Yes, clearly he should put Southampton FC before his own family and newly born child. <doh>

Family before your job, always. Especially in the cut-throat world of football where you can be transfer listed in a flash.

Yes, of course, but I think that it's not that important to be in the hospital just to see your little baby crying and covered in slime. The babies always want to be next to their mothers anyway, so your just wasting your time at the hospital.

It's the birth of his child, it's literally a one off event. Yes, he may have other kids but this is literally the only time he can be there for the birth of this child, it's not something that he can go back to in the future. He can play for Southampton another day perhaps. I don't doubt for one minute that any parent would say being their for the birth of their kid is a waste of time.

Plus, if you consider being there for the birth of your child unimportant, surely football is even less important? Unless 22 guys kicking around a ball is somehow more important than either family or human life.
