I do not know. But I can speculate that because thus far the club hasn't been crowing publically that they have beaten last years figure... that we havn't beaten last year's figure (whatever that was)
They never crowed last season that they'd outsold the 1st season either. I think it's a state secret.
I would tend to agree. I think the fact the season ticket hike has priced a lot of people out of buying one. Personally i would of had to of bougt 1 adult and 1 child season ticket just could not afford it as much as really wanted too. Will have to select matches this season.
I can provide detailed statistical evidence that they have definately sold two and that from this households perspective they have held their customer numbers and at the same time increased their revenue stream. One thing that puzzles me about fans is that always want their club to spend lavishly as long as it isn't their money.
Just bought tickets for Millwall and B'ham games and the lady in ticket office said season tickets have gone really really well. I couldn't get seats in my usual section (which I've booked for 5 years) because they've gone to new season tickets holders so that all bodes well.
They don't know much in the ticket office - They can't even print my tickets out correctly half the time..
They do seem to be having problems with ST this year, but I have always found them pleasant and efficient when I buy single tickets.
I didnt renew my season ticket this year due to other comitments but i booked the first 3 home games that i can make and someone had nabbed my old seat ! Luckily i can sit one row behind so its okay.
Unfortunately Saints have got their price structure wrong for season tickets in my opinion. I've renewed, luckily I could afford it but it was a big increase from £460 last season to £705 for this one for me and my son. My brother and niece not renewed, couldn't afford it. Bloke at work was all up for becoming a new season ticket but would of missed a couple games with hols, work etc so therefore no real financial gain paying out £540 as opposed to buying individual match tickets. Accept there was always going to be an increase in price but in my opinion the club overdid it. We had around 14000 season ticket holders last season and its going to be around the same this year. I find that disappointing, our average attendance (brilliant last season) will be up due to more visiting support but I think we could of encouraged more of our fans.
they kept doing updates, one was when we outsold the previous years sales, then 10k, then pretty much every 1k after that till about 15k which was the total we sold last year.
