How many points do you reckon we will get for the rest of this month. Personally i believe this is the toughest 3 games on the trot we will have.

    Birmingham (H)
    Burnley (A)
    Cardiff (A)

2 wins and a loss (6) or 1 win and 2 draws (5)..both would be a good result following on from our excellent start.

Anything less than 37 will be considered a failure.

I wouldn't be upset with getting four points from those games, and another seven or eight from October. That would leave us on 26-27 points through 14 matches, on the sort of pace necessary to reach the playoffs, and with a November/December schedule beyond where we should be able to find points.

We shouldn't fear anyone in this league. So anything less than 9 is a failure

I wish I felt more confident about our defence. Provided that has been the focus in training this week, as I'm more confident of a back four of Fox-Hooiveld-Fonte-Richardson, I can see us beating Birmingham especially after their difficult game against Braga on Thursday. The games against Cardiff and Burnley will be tough. Between 4 and 6 pts I reckon.

Why is everyone so scared of these 3 games? B'ham are nothing special this season as they lost most of their players, same goes for Burnley. Only team that should give us any problems is Cardiff.

4 points I reckon. Loss at Burnley, win against B'ham and a draw against Cardiff.

For me it's less about the opponents (Cardiff and Burnley) and more about the start we've had and that annoying sense that our form has to change sometime. Don't know why I'm listening to my instincts, they're based on the old Saints. This Saints side could and should get 9pts from these games. Cardiff and Burnley away are good enough to cause us problems but if we lose, I'm prepared to bet that the goals against will be down to defensive errors as opposed to letting in well-worked goals. Of the eight we've let in so far, most could have been avoided. Here's hoping the defence is shored up!

Before someone comes on here and says... if Saints win those three matches, I'll dance naked at the very next home match... I would strongly advise against it. This team is perfectly capable of winning them.

I'm gonna go for the optimistic route, 7 or 9 points. We should fear no one, and go out and tear em apart :) COYR

Yes I think it could be 5 points.......as others have said would be ecstatic at that. We fear no one but they do not fear us either. so tough, tough matches ahead.
