The happy clappy totally positive response

 

5 wins, 3 draws, 4 losses. 18 points (like beefy said), for a total of 58. More than happy to be wrong, as long as I'm on the low side!!

 

5 wins, 2 draws, 5 losses, 17 points. Had 5/3/4 for 18 points originally, but changed one to justify the 45 seconds spent on the post when simply quoting latviandream would have sufficed.

 

Yeah, I would set the over/under at 18. That is the pace we have maintained so far, and seems reasonable based on schedule.

If forced to place a bet on that though, I would take the over. We added Austin, Fraser is back, players like Clasie and Romeu have settled in, we were well above that pace before suffering a blip in the season..

So I will play a hunch and say 20, which matches the total from last year and should get us a Europa spot.

 

Would be happy with 14, but think we will get 16.

 

I can't see us getting more than 8 wins and a draw, so just 66 points.

For a team in a good position, that isn't a bad run out as we must be hopeful of getting something from every game now. I'm not saying we will, but there is no team on a banker when they play us.

 

Not sure. Tottenham is a whole bunch of bankers.

 

What I would like is 21 to give us 1 point more than last year. The Chelsea game is a big. They are playing well now and look like scoring on every attack. It will be a test for our new-found frugalness. If we can sneak a win I think 21 is entirely possible. If not, then something around 14/15 is probably more likely.

 

W7, D4, L1 (spuds) = 25, as ever the eternal optimist (how many times over the last 50 years has that kicked me is the arse!) + 40 = 65 total. What did we finish on last year ?

I agree. The Chelsea game could be a yardstick for the rest of the season as a win against them opens up a 10 point gap which should put to bed any lingering hopes they have of hauling us in and grabbing 5th/6th. We then have 3 decent looking fixtures before Liverpool at home, a game in which we should be looking to nail a top 6 finish (they have games against Man City and Chelsea before coming to St Marys).

 

Chelsea have problems in defence so could be a great time tp play them. I'll go with 20.

 

I'd be overjoyed with 21, anything more than that and I may explode!
