    Out of interest, how many of you actually come from Manchester?

    It's long been held by many non-United fans that your following is primarily comprised of supporters who have no affiliation to the City, at all, and simply started supporting the club because it was successful. I think that's rubbish! No one starts supporting a club purely because it always wins things, and I absolutely refuse to believe that people are that shallow (some ungrateful fans use the word "plastic" but you won't find me stooping to that level).

    So, let's put this to the test. Humour me, and vote in my poll, so that can finally lay this little rumour to rest.

    back at 78 it was liverpool who winning everything .. yet my heart picked UTD .. bcz i fall in love with the history in this amazing club

    Not sure how you plan to lay a rumour to rest with a non probability sample of around 20 people out of a global Utd supporting population of over 100 million. Statistically, that would be like concluding that the entire population of Uruguay is racist on the basis of Luis Suarez.
