I reckon one - Cardiff at home. Probably another last-minute victory via De Jong's bellend.

    And I'd gladly take it.

Fck it, I'm going for the bottom option in the absence of "by the time we do, I'm unlikely to notice, such is my utter contempt and disregard for this shambles of a football club".

3 - I think we'll beat Man U, Swansea and Cardiff. Arsenal and Liverpool will tonk us. Stoke are in great form, I'd imagine we'll struggle there. That is working on the basis that Remy and Debuchy will be back next week though.

No chance whatsoever we'll beat Man U. And that's saying something. They've stuttered, but Rooney + De Gea could beat the shower that turned up today/10 times in the last dozen matches. I genuinely think we're staring at 7 defeats. Whether that's enough to see that kunt packing his bags, who knows - I live in hope, as Kinnear was sacked, but I equally live in dread, as I understand our next DoF/MD is Lee Charnley.

We have to put in a better performance against Man U. They'll have the second leg with Bayern a few days later and if they are still in with a chance, who knows what team Moyes will put out against us, chances are Rooney and others will be rested.

Charnley appears to be in the running for MD if press reports are true, but we all know how unreliable they are and MA is more likely to spring a surprise that no one is expecting.

Erm, was including Southampton? Or have you written off today so much it didn't actually happen?

Well, I might be getting this wrong, but our transfer dealings have been in the hands of either the MD or the DoF, most of whom have been kunts. We have 3 months to the start of the next transfer window, a notoriously short window due to the World Cup. At the moment, we have no-one in place to do our transfers. Pardew spews forth words that, when strung together in the right order, seem to imply we're doing something here. The simple fact we don't actually employ anyone to do it pour a little cold water on that. So unless Ashley's surprise - none of which to date have been "good" surprises - happens soon, I would hazard a guess that we'll be the Fulham of 2014/15.

I wrote it off in a thread discussing how many of our remaining games we will win <ok> Put a bet on 6 defeats in a row, you'll get good odds.

So, are you still willing to give Ashley the benefit of the doubt until September?

The dubious benefit of a significant amount of doubt. Thing is, as I hope you understand, I was willing to give him the benefit of this doubt without factoring Pardew in. What I have come to realise is that what I now perceive as the problem - the manager - is inextricably linked to the owner.

Surely there's little doubt that we'll be 'busy'. Obviously we'll be more like Harrods January Sale than the Londoners.

Squad is weak, manager is poor, owner is worse.

I'm going to go for 6 wins... If we can include next season in the guessing game as well.
