As the end of days approaches; as the final judgement is being made, two great armies will rise. One will be pure and shrouded in Lilywhite, the other in the image of Sam Allardyce and dressed a deep Claret. They will battle and the Loftus Road dressing room shall be divided. All will know that The End is nigh and it will be DIFFICULT. (The Book of Underwhelming Revelations, chapter 8, verse 17)
" And the Whore of Sandbanks shall purchase a Lilywhite BEAST which shall emerge from that dressing room, and the number of the BEAST shall be 30. But that number shall be forgotten by all as the BEAST does his hamstring on the way to Armageddon, in the dread Vale of Leicester" (The Book of Underwhelming Revelations, chapter 8, verse 18)
Stan I hope your missus has removed all sharp implements and all medications. Jeeze lighten up a bit man.
Maybe the scouting team have seen some unlocked potential and see him as a Goalkeeper/Back up striker/Emergency Left-back..
Here's a thought....if Murphy's contract is up in the summer and is not renewed why don't we just promote the young keeper Lumley into the squad.......I know, I know it's not the done thing but if he is a prospect and already on our books...........sorry just a few ramblings.......
And, at the breaking of the seals, the four harbingers rode forth. First came famine but, spurned by the lies and deceipt that ever spewed from the mouth of the bloated Whore of Sandbanks, quickly departed, riding off on on his motorised, purple and green omnibus. Thereafter, came War. His disruption and chaos only abated by a loan on the fields of Marseilles. Though not but one minute's trouble did he commit on the hallowed grounds of Harlington. Next came Death. In his wake was a withering and decline. He arrived from Manchester with tales of life and virtue but nevermore should anything flourish from those boots. Victory floundered on the way to the battle and his arrival at that field remains elusive but eagerly anticipated. (The Book of Underwhelming Revelations, chapter 9, verse 4)
