How many goals will Luke James score for us?

He has yet to score for us but has gone close with hitting the woodwork or chances cleared of the line. You would think that its surely just a matter of time before he does. But I honestly dont think he will.

Do you think he will find the net with just 8 games to go? If so how many?

 

I think as soon as Luke James gets his first goal he will go on a run and get goals on a regular basis. he came as a replacement for Taylor who then didn't leave and James didn't get much game time, he is also carrying an injury when he plays regularly he will I believe get a lot of goals for us

 

I mean this season, in the remaining 8 games

Hard to say but I do think the lad needs to put some wood on, currently he is getting knocked off of the ball too easily by large defenders and there are plenty of those in this league. If you compared his physique with that of Simon Cox on Saturday there wasn't a lot of parity.

 

Wow, 4 goals or more in the next 8 games. You are feeling positive arnt you. I so hope you are right!

I'm still convinced he's a winger and not a striker he is classed as both

 

I'm going to say 3 goals for us

8 games left and some of you think he will score 4 or more goals.

Has Luke James played 23 games for us or are most of them sub appearances

 

He's been a sub quite a bit and has only just been in the side regularly.

I believe that Luke James will score goals for us on a regular basis now he is getting regular game time and I believe that there is a clause to make his signing permanent at the end of the season which I hope the club take up, His work rate is immense and he gets stuck in and when this calf injury which he is apparently carrying clears up he will improve

 

Well he had a great chance yesterday to end this saga! But still failed to score. He was brilliant though with his workrate and performance. Glad he got a good reception when he went off.

 

His penalty wasnt this bad though... This is shocking! A little chip and the keeper didnt dive and stood and easily caught it

 

Some fans seem to forget a certain Ricky Lambert took ages to score goals and he turned out ok, people need to be patient DC thinks he will come good and normally he's right.

 

It's all about how strikers cope with a lean spell. He will get a few goals and if he keeps assisting the others we can't ask for much more. He'll only improve,

 

I think Luke James is a good player but I got serious stick for saying that at the game on Saturday but I believe he WILL come good and his goals will come like buses get 1 and another will come along just after it
