Fonte, Davis and Long to score + 8 who have already scored = 11 (my guess). JRod possibly, making 12, but that assumes he will come back fully fit.

I'm hoping Gallagher gets even better....he hasn't had the game time he needs to improve...and won't get game time if he doesn't. Catch 22.
I can see him maybe getting some Sub appearances if maybe Pelle or Long are injured as he is a similar Targetman style, he didn't need many games to score last season.
Hello chaps - great start to the season. You smashed us twice last year and you look even better this year. How is Long doing? I know he hasn't scored goals but that isn't his key asset. Did we pull your pants down at 12 12.5m or not?
He's been the subject of heated debate on this board and amongst Saints fans generally. I think what he contributes by his running into space and drawing defenders outweighs his lack of goals. Of course, he'll get a hat trick against you! As to his price, yes we probably paid over the odds but he was an identified target by Koeman and Les Reed, our director of football and what Koeman wants, Koeman gets!
