Power-crazed money-obsessed egomaniacs in suits have relegated the League & FA Cups to 'interesting in the last few rounds' competitions, Europe to a bizarre mix of worthless or 'impossible for most clubs' and now they're getting to work on the World Cup.

I'm rapidly losing all interest in the World Cup thanks to these lunatics and their schemes.
Is it really their business to 'encourage' the likes of Qatar when they've never before, and may never again, qualify for the World Cup? Why not encourage Australia who competed for the 2022 World Cup and have qualified for the last 3 competitions?

Can they not see that everything is invariably better before they start to 'improve' things?

I try not to think about the Qatar WC honestly, it just pisses me off. ****ing greedy corrupt ****s, it makes zero sense. One of the requirements to host it should be that you've played in the ****ing thing. Why have a country that clearly doesn't give a **** / is **** at football the largest football event in the world? Oh yeah, coz of the money. And if the players have to be subjected to damn near torturous conditions well so be it eh. ****s.

This could be the first world cup that many of the top European nations go all out not to qualify for..

unfortunately EUFA have more or less agreed to this winter tournament and our own FA have said they will try to protect our winter games. In other words they have both backed down already. Spineless b*stards.
I hope the American and Australian FA's sue FIFA for every penny going. The WC was sold on the specification stating it was a summer tournament and subsequent bids were entered based on that belief.
Blatter is the biggest corrupt w* nker on the planet. Hope he's next ****e is like a raggy pineapple.

    Here's what I think.

**** FIFA. Get Europe and the America's to agree to show up in Australia in 2022, instead of Qatar. Actually, I believe they might do it. Any other nations welcome to join in. Don't need them if they don't want in.

Would probably be the most inspiring competition ever. Australia would do a great job.

In any other situation the lawyers would be preparing a fraud case by now and be confident of winning.

If FA's like Australia & England allow a horrible creep like Blatter walk all over them they deserve it ......... the supporters don't.

Unless they do something substantial everyone will simply assume they're all in it together.

I've been involved in some of the 'bidding' process with England and it's absolutely sickening ......... helicopters, top hotels, unlimited expenses, etc.

I agree outlaw in principle with your idea but unfortunately now that it looks like a November competition it wouldn't work.
If it had been a summer competition then yes, fail to qualify deliberately and hold a competition elsewhere at the same time. Would have been a shame for players at that time but could have been interesting to see who the TV companies and media followed.

Well Gil, if it goes back to a Summer competition, I like your idea perfectly well.
