...have you been to and sat with the home fans? When they were playing Wall or not. Fulham - My local club as a boy QPR - A friend took me. Chelsea - Ditto Spurs - Ditto
i remember there was a minute silence before the game for some reason, and all the wall fans were singing through it,all the hammers around us we going ****ing mental and me and my m8 just sort of casually slipped under our seats, WE WERE SO BRAVE
I nearly went in the away end with 500 others at the end of the season we went up to the old 1st Division. When the whistle blew we invaded the pitch to celebrate and then all of us ran towards the Blackburn end. I was at the front and was thinking 'either I get killed by the Blackburn or trampled to death by the Millwall behind'. In the end we all stopped at the railings and applauded the Blackburn fans, as they applauded us. Thank **** for that.
fulham-my uncle used to take me as a boy n try persuade me millwall werent the best team ever (like that'd work) charlton- could only gt a home ticket in the 4-4 draw boy did i get some funny glances lucky all charlton fans eat cucumber sandwiches and know all southeastern trains timetables LMFAO brighton- study at sussex so had to be done but the withdean is pony lookin forward to the games at their new stadium drive past it most days n looks quite good
In the late 70`s used be able to go in the home ends, if you Know what i mean Showoff In the 80`s we went all posh, and started sitting in the main stand while the stood out in the rain. Also used to go to a lot of games as a neutral mainly London clubs, and if could any club promoted to the league that i hadn't been to before .
i remember another time we were playing at Man.City and we drove up without tickets. we arrived early and having a drink in a bar near the station, we heard the wall fans arrive and wanted to go walk to the ground with them. the O.B. wouldnt let us leave the pub, we had to go into citys end and some blokes followed us we thought the end was neigh, then one tapped me on the shoulder and said do you have tickets for the away end, thinking **** here we go. i said no mate, he said heres 2 tickets from an ex player who couldnt make it and has asked me to give them to wall fans,
Ninion Park, lasted all of 5 mins before I got booted (literally) out Selhurst a few times when my cousin had tickets back when charlton were playin there Camp Nou, what a crazy view from the third tier!
i was at the wallsall end when we drew 1-1 at the bescott stadium to go to wembley for the auto windscreen final in '99
Ipswich Town - My uncle got tickets so we went and Livermore scored an equaliser in like the 80th minute and my Uncles shouted "Ere isn't that your Captain that just scored?" Gillingham - Free tickets from my school at the time so no better way to watch the game apart from we lost 4-3 and Bob Peters (LEGEND :Augh) scored two if I remember correctly erm thats all I think
Was in the Reading end in 2001 when we won 4-3. Mark Mcghee back at his old club and we were top of the league. Never done it after, worse thing in the world is seeing your own fans celebrating and not being able to join in.
