After beating Afan Lido and Port Talbot, beating Man City should be a formality. Graham, Routledge and Lita to score on their debuts?
Dream on lads dream on. If Man City play to their potential I for see nothing but a big win for City. The score I forseeis Man City 5 Swansea 0.
You can't knock misplaced confidence dude! Stranger things have happened... No Swansea fan would come out and say "we expect to win", but we're all quietly hopeful of an upset, if only for purely bias reasons.
Realistically, we have to catch City cold and hope that they will underestimate us. Cold logic dictates that, with the class of player they can field, they should win easily. But sometimes football can be an illogical game, so we will be in with a chance. We need to believe that we have a right to be in the Premiership (we did it the hard way, after all), battle City for every ball and let them know what we are about. Freezing must not be an option. A good display, even if we lose, will boost our confidence for the campaign and remove any self doubt that might be lurking in the player's minds. I think we are going to surprise a few pundits this season but it is essential that we put in a confident performance in our first game to set the bench mark.
Tell me about it , look what Stoke did to us a couple of seasons ago. I hope you do a Blackpool (i dont mean get relegated) and take a few big teams scalps, having said that i hope we fecking destroy you in our first game, nothing personal you understand,
If we can't beat this plastic play toy of some Arab tart, then we might as well call ourselves, kairdiff city!... please log in to view this image
A draw or a shock win for us would be great in the baptism of fire we are sure to have in our first PREMIER LEAGUE game . I predict we win 2-1 anything is possible.
After City beat Inter, I can't see us doing that much against them, only a 2 or 3 nil win in my opinion
Everyone expects us to get hammered but then again anything can happen, just read the following article http://m.guardian.co.uk/football/bl...motion-fixture-list?cat=football&type=article
Did you ever see the Vetch? One of the goals had a rise in the ground which I swear made the goals that end smaller...
well as the owls lost 14-0 against non league then it must be the year for the underdogs and im going one better at 15-0...
Have we not lost our first away game for the last couple of seasons. We have done OK at the end of the season with this formula working in our favour. Although it would be nice to win our first game, but I doubt it. ............That`s what the monkey said when he p****d on the fire.
