I can see a major fall out looming. After the shambles at Spurs, Redknapp said he thought some of the players had "too much information" and "had forgotten what to do with the ball when in possession of it". A thinly veiled dig at Hoddle? And I can't believe Hoddle could have been responsible for the woeful set-up yesterday. He's a tactically astute guy and surely wouldn't have been responsible for the stone-age tactics of sitting deep, giving United's superstars time on the ball and just trying to hang on as long as possible. And once the first goal predictably arrived there wasn't even a plan B. Anyone with half a brain knows United are still iffy at the back and the Old Trafford crowd were nervous as hell after their poor start - so get at them from the start or at least close them down all over the pitch and quell the party atmosphere. We were shocking yet still United were so iffy at the back that they gifted us an open goal. There's no way Hoddle would have 'masterminded' that set up so Redknapp must surely have been responsible for the debacle that followed. I can see Hoddle walking sooner rather than later, otherwise he's going to be tainted as a tactical dunce.
