I saw it Sussex. Someone really needs to get a grip on where they were, rather than where they are.

If my memory serves me correctly, it was about that time that Sam Hamman was offereing to pay for their supporter's coaches because they were skint and very nearly down and out.

Short memories springs to mind - and anyway, how does a press reported comment by a single person (typical Hamman soundbite hype) have to do with Cardiff City and it's supporters now? The OP is really clutching at straws by trawling back 11 years to have a go. <doh>

yes he said come and support cardiff city i'll pay for your busses, what a tosser this guy is,
as if any real supporter in the country would go and support their local rivals.
look between the line he stuck his mate fash in charge of barry town sent them down the
pan then we have his other mate petty down our way he tried his best to send the swans down the pan
but it's all backfired cos this same guy may send your football club down the pan i hope he dont but the
guy is i right tosser with no regard for anyone but his self.
i wish you all the best for next season

In the euphoria of the takeover Sam said a lot of things to get the Bluebirds on side, this comment is a sure-fire winner. Most football fans usually realise that nothing is impossible in football and the Swans have done a magnificent job to go up three divisions in seven years without a major benefactor.

Is eleven years roughly a quarter of the time since your club last played top flight football?

"and when was the last time your football club played in the top flight mmmm i wonder if ever."

Cardiff top flight 1921 - 1929 1953 - 1957 1960 -1962 14 years in the top flight.

Swansea top flight 1981 - 1983 2 years in the top flight

<doh> Why does the phrase "brain dead know nothing muppet" spring to mind?

That usually only happens when I'm looking in a mirror...............but I'll make an exception fpr this tit <ok>

the blur prophet what's your prophecy for the next 50 years a lot nothing but heartache, your the joke of this board your team or should i say your loaned team were a joke of the championship last season bellamy was the only guy in your team who wore is shirt with pride the rest were just a bunch of over paid piss heads one was even seen on the piss in Newcastle 2 hours after a home game, how he managed that i don't know.
I’m looking forward to the next few weeks in New York then home to my Premier Leage Football Club is'nt life a bitch.
what's your prophesy ( and he laughed ) the man with the millions will be back soon he'll steady the ship with a tap on his head and every thing will be going SWIMINGLY again
catch you in a few weeks.
ps thanks for the "HISTORY" lesson ( history it was), by the way did Cardiff City lace their balls from the left or the right back in those days,

Too true Jager.

The 2 muppets posting before you could do with lessons in a variety of skills. Whether they have the brain power to learn from those lessons is another matter.

It's funny how all of the Clubs history and achievements mean nothing now the Jacks got promoted. You can see if they come straight back down this will be their bragging point for the next 50 years. Cardiff will end up a stronger club...It is inevitable due to being more attractive. Just waiting for the right group of people to put it into place.

I do hope the Swans stay up by the way.
