With a frightening recent stats as 2 wins; 1 draw and 9 (NINE) defeats in the last 12 league games (7 points from 36 available); conceding goals left right and centre(26 in total and only 13 for); losing their top striker; and 3 or 4 key injuries have seen them plummet down the table and now look perilously over the precipice of relegation. At what point would the owners of NUFC pull the plug? Their next 8 games takes them up to the end of February: Norwich (a) Reading (h) Villa (a) Would 2 defeats spell the end? Chelsea (h) Spurs (a) Would defeat here coupled with 2 defeats previous do it? 2 Europa games (and a trip to the Ukraine where average temp currently is -5) but these results are not important Southampton (h) Losing 3 or 4 of these 6 league games would leave them within touching distance of the bottom 3 imo and there will only be 11 games to go at that point? Would Ashley pull the plug at then? Mark Hughes will be on alert right now I reckon.
If someone offered me decent odds on Mark Hughes being there manager before the end of the season, I'd take it, however, I think it's hard to read the Pieman as he's been quite unpredictable in the past.
I didn't want to upset the lads up the road mate. God knows what they would have done if the thought he had 6 more months. Lol
Talking to a mag mate last night, reckons the 8 year deal clears his casino debt and if he's sacked only gets a years pay off?
I think there are more than murmurings now they have lost 9 out of 12 kidda. I'm not saying its a full blown Pardew out campaign but they are in absolute free fall at the minute and they have Norwich (a) Saturday when another defeat could see the crunch matches v Reading (h) and Villa (a) put them bottom 3 with only a third of the season to go. January will make or break Pardew as far as transfers and points imo. 2 defeats and no significant players in and I can see him looking for work in February.
Not if they lose collocini, same mag mate was telling me about a pizza box incident on the team bus, foreigners and english sitting seperately and no-one speaks to him, anyone heard any of this?
Pizza box incident ? Have to say if it is bad as your suggesting then pardew has his work cut out but after last season for them I wouldn't understand why it's all gone Pete tong
Aye, apparently they always get a shed load of pizzas on the team bus to start the journey home and he started punching them all over the place and nearly took a players eye out (think he said collucini) after this none of the players speak to him - from a staunch mag aswel
Aye its gone a bit 'hot & spicy' for them recently hasn't it? Think Pardew is 'pasta' his sell by date?
Maybe there is some truth colo going to San Lorenzo then yeah your right if they lost him now they would be I trouble he is one of the best CBS in the prem still be good news for us for the derbie game lol we will need all the help we can get
