3 months. If that!! Thing is they haven't even said they're 'minted'. It's just another Chainrai Just another cleaner left to sweep up the cr@p... Plus according to Sky Sports they said they would be run like a business, so that's still 0 players Pompey will be buying Happy Days!
Allegedly one (Antonov) of them is worth £300,000,000 which sounds a lot (and in all fairness, is), but isn't enough to back a huge transfer binge. He also seems like a businessman, and not a rich guy looking for a play thing (which probably isn't bad for Portsmouth). The other one (Donov I thnk) is more interesting. He is allegedly a champion Domino player...
This is an interesting poll because every single one of the options will become a reality in the time span quoted.
The Skate supporters remind me of a bloke desperate for a girlfriend. No matter how ugly, how unfaithful or how simple she is, he's sooo desperate he'll overlook her faults. "I'm a man!".......... "Well, nobody's perfect."
That doesn't mean he's got £300 million sitting in his bank account either! Unless their first action is to wipe the debt or a significant amount of it in a lump sum, I think a long term plan is all talk and no substance. Without serious backing and wise investment in infrastructure and players, they aren't tenable as a top level club.
It won't be long until the house of cards falls in...again. Pompey got dealt the joker and it's heading for bust.
How long do you think we'll have to stay in the doldrums before you've had the time to accumulate a similar hoard of silverware? I think I'll have to look into cryogenics if I'm to be around when you've got there!
I am certain the Russians have considerably more funds than the Joker you nearly ended up with! http://fansonline.net/southampton/article.php?id=718
Clutching at straws or what. Probably the most pathetic comment I've seen from a skate on here, looking for something to grab on to.
Have their new owners announced plans for the 200,000 undersea super stadium yet to accommodate their core support? I'm sure a bid for Messi will be made anyday now too. And even more unlikely and shocking... they may even pay their tax bill this month!
The first of the cards starts today at Southwark Crown Court, Storrie-Teller and MM in the dock (although there has been a media blackout, for some reason) How many points did Luton get for irregularities?
