Looking at the league 1 table the division appears to be settling already into a top 10, and bottom 10 (and I realise this leaves 4 in the middle), in our 9 fixtures so far we have played 4 top 10 sides, 2 from the middle group and 3 from the bottom 10 1 of whom was Coventry who would be just outside the top 10 without the points deduction, whilst I havenât analysed every ones fixtures I think that it is likely that these groups will stay fairly similar and as such we have a significant number of matches to play against the other sides that will be around us in the bottom half and whilst it is important to pick up points against everyone it is in these matches against the sides we are in direct competition with that our fate will be sealed, last weekends result has certainly given me the confidence to believe that we can compete with these teams and by the end of November we will have played Shrewsbury, Notts Co, Carlisle, Sheff Utd, Oldham and Stevenage all of whom are in and around us and hopefully our points tally at that point will be significantly better than it is today.
